We believe that healthy eating and living is something that each of us has to learn. It is not something that can be adopted quickly as old habits die hard. Therefore the earlier we start to adopt this habit, the better will be the outcome.
We use fresh and organic products where possible. We do not use MSG, but instead use Himalayan salt for flavoring. We use natural sweetness from fruits, rather than white, highly processed sugar. We do not use artificial sweeteners, but only when necessary, we use stevia or coconut palm sugar which has a lower GI. We do not use tap water in our food preparation, instead we use pure Petone artesian water because it is not chlorinated or fluoridated. We use extra virgin olive oil and extra virgin coconut oil when needed in our recipes.

Thank you for the lovely raw food class for beginners. It was great to be thinking outside the box for making a meal. It was a friendly atmosphere with lots of info.
The food tasted fantastic and was very colourfull and appetising. I am sure I will make the sushi again, I would love to have the recipe for the delicious barbeque sauce so I can try the burgers again too.
I would recommend the course to anyone who would like to try a healthy way of cooking, with lots of flavour. Well done!

A really informative class. Learnt lots and the results were amazing. Nice class size and informal atmosphere were a real plus.

I attended a very interesting workshop on raw food and was surprised at the quality of the products and the taste of the food. As a cook, it was exciting to learn new methods of handling food.
Raw food has a very fresh and intense flavour and being taught by a chef is always enlightening. I would recommend this course to anyone who cares about what they put into their body, enjoys their food and loves to be adventurous! Many thanks

I’ve enjoyed the beginners raw food class very much. The one hour theory was very interesting with some great information. In the other 2 hours we prepared two raw food dishes with a chef as our teacher. A raw rice-less sushi and a raw veg-nut burger. Both turned out very yummy and I was surprised how many of these veges tasted so nice raw, for example the cauliflower. After we enjoyed some bites of our own creations we were served a previously prepared raw chocolate torte which was very delicious as well as a healthy enzyme rich drink. Overall I had great time with lots of information and both of the recipes to take home.
